Great!  I think I'm gonna want to do my plate if I every get it. That really makes it pop!

Very; I hate yellow bulbs that are supposed to be white!

I got 2 more LED's coming in for back maps and I'm done.

I want to do from turn signal and marker bulb but I'm being told it's a PITA to do.

So the LED bulbs that you swapped...did they go into a 10-12 SHO or a different car?  I won't mind getting LED's for the reverse, just wondering if the first one's you got fit in my car.

He has a 2012 Focus.

Where is the reverse lights on your car? Trunk lid or body?

New lights look great, geswek!
2007 Ford Edge SEL, Powerstop F/R Brake Kit, TXT LED 6000K Lo & Hi Beams, W16W LED Reverse Bulbs, 3BSpec 2.5w Map Lights, 5W Cree rear dome lights, 5W Cree cargo light, DTBL LED Taillights

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

In the body.

You should be fine then.

The 13 has their reverse lights on trunk lid which means the bulb goes in at like a 60 degree angle to the housing.

If yours goes in with bulb facing straight back towards back of car you good.

I tested last night how the LEDs worked.

Reverse LEDs that I swapped with my mate are useless; they do give me a white light and they do fill the entire reflector better than the other CREE's I had, but they don't actually "project" any light--so backing up they are useless.

I found these two on ebay; not sure which one I will go with.

Rated @ 490 lumens; http://goo.gl/3cIj0j

Rated @ 500 lumens; http://goo.gl/uT6HSV

The first one may work better for my reflectors since it has so many LED's all over whereas the second one seems to have like (2) HP LEDs on each plane.

Interior LEDS

The ones I got work GREAT! Even with two back map lights still stock, the LED's overpowered the interior and make it bright white. I love it; no more "yellow" look in my car.

Even license plate looked amazing.

OK, I just ordered these LED's for my vanity lights after pulling out the factory one. They look like fuses actually.

https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/led-vehicle-replacement-bulbs/fuse-led-bulb-1-smd-led-festoon/243/1162/

So I have (2) more map light LED's coming and (4) vanity light LED's; that will complete my interior.

I also ordered this for my reverse lamp;

What kind of reflector is on the '13 reverse light assembly?  Maybe a high powered festoon (all lighting elements on 1 side) would work instead?  How much space inside?

It has to be a 360 degree LED.

The first one I had was just a projector LED, didn't work as it basically pointed at side of walls.

The next LED I got from my friend was fine, just not bright enough.

The third I just ordered has a ton more LED on it so it should work.

Reflector is normal like any other. The issue is that the bulb goes in from side of light and from back like a normal tail lights.

I broke 2 more LED's; so I ordered a bunch! Those damn T10's are HARD to put into brand new sockets LOL.

Here is the vanity mirror--they look AWESOME!

It's disappointing that these cars cost as much as they do, but still seem to lack in some of the detail areas. I know we're only talking about lights here, but that's kind of the point. Look at what a dramatic difference is made with the LEDs.

Looks great!

Thanks Joleat!

I agree -- they're getting there. We have LED brakes now! LOL.
