Possible Causes of Power Loss

I was curious if your able to turn the traction control off fully? by hoilding down the button for five seconds with foot on the brake and shifter in drive.  Z

Have you tried loading your tune again to reset the adaptive learning process?  The boost sounds perfectly fine for your build / tune.  Also depending on the model the traction control button has an additional mode of advance trac off.  Our SHO will go into this true off mode by holding the traction control button down while foot is on the brake running in park.  After 10-15 seconds typically the display will read "advance trac off" which is the best mode when driving aggressively IMO.  Weather can play a big role in the way these vehicles perform as well as was mentioned on here.

Honestly I have never had the traction fully off. Never knew I had to hold the button, will get it a try today.

I will also reload the tune. See if that helps. In order to do that, I need to reload the stock tune and then the V8 tune correct?

I would personaly make an appt at the dealer and have the hubs replaced as SHOdded mentioned earlier and start from there,especially if no codes are set and the boost level is fine,sounds to me your issues started around the same time as the clicking noise correct?

Double tap puts it in advance trak sport mode which is higher thresholds for both tc and esc but still intervene in case the shenanigans get too intense.

A couple weeks ago while in that mode I was able to get the ass end out quite a bit with no intervention. That is the mode I am in unless I'm on the track or seriously feeling the need for speed and I'm by myself in Mexico.

Hey Guys,

So I just got back in from returning my car back to stock for its trip to the dealer tomorrow. While I had the MyCal tuner connected, it reported that there were two DTC's that needed to be cleared. The two are P008B and B1215.

Quick search tells me that P008B is for "Low Pressure Fuel Pump"? Not sure about B1215.

Causes of my recent power issues?

That could explain your problem as I have read of a few ecoboosters having the low pressure fuel pump replaced after experiencing power loss.

Agreed.  Low pressure fuel pump and/or fuel module controller.  BiGMaC put this issue in the spotlight with his 2013 SHO.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

I'd recommend telling your dealer to check the battery also. This is to cover the flashing the tune process. From my understanding they see a tune flash and a battery disconnect as the same thing in there scan process. Pretty sure it gives a date of "flash" also. So a red flag to them could be the "flash" a day prior with no battery problems. Give em some story of it being dead a week ago and you've been hooking it up at night to trickle charge it.

Could the DTC for Low Pressure Fuel System - Too High, because caused by the E-85 I am putting in my car?

This last fill up I put in 3 gallons of E-85 and about 6 or so of Shell 93.

So a total of 9 gallons in the tank then, or did you have 11 gallons already of E10 in there, or ...
