It's hit and miss, the issue is the hubs. There is slop in the hubs after a short time of driving when the cars are new. Hence the clicking, mine had 10k when it started. If you have the tech place a pry bar between the steering knuckle and the hub you can duplicate the noise. On mine they changed the tie rods (did nothing) , then the hubs. When they did the hubs the noise was quieter for about 5k miles then came back even louder. They then did the washer TSB. And that did nothing, at this point I was ready to call Ford directly and they replaced the hubs again, but this time they also replaced the wheel studs and it's been gone since then. That was about 10k ago. So that is my story. Others here have had the same issue and similar stories.
