Some random thoughts from someone that's old school...
First let me say that I love Direct Port anything. It does provide better distribution and can, ultimately, flow more volume given a certain safety level due to the better distribution and ability to fine tune.
That being said, this kind of reminds me of all of the people that say intakes weren't meant for liquids and there would be puddling and poor distribution, etc. The reality is I've NEVER had a nitrous related issue using a single fogger nozzle on any motor...be it a 5.0, 3.0 SHO, 2.5 Nissan, 4.0 Aurora v8, etc. I'm sure any of those cars would have been happy with a single meth nozzle as well.
The one time I did run a direct port nitrous set up, the car didn't go .1 quicker in the quarter with equal total nitrous. I actually lost a tiny bit of ET likely due to not getting as hard of a hit that the plate provided (that was on a carbureted car). The car did later pick up quite a bit, but that was with the use of bigger pills and more total nitrous.
My point is that this set up makes sense if you plan on running a substantial amount of meth, but is that a good idea? I don't think I'd want to run a water/meth mix at that point for fear of washing down the cylinders. Is this being designed with the idea of running 100% meth? That would seem to increase the risk of a bad day if the pump fails or the reservoir runs dry.
I do love the eye candy though and like to see people pushing the platform further. I'm just not certain that this will result in better performance on mild builds. Maybe best used by those looking to push the envelope.
