Dalum;

How those hook/clip?

I actually like those! Given that I have snow here; I may consider this too.

The fronts use the 2 factory inner fender well screws.  The rears use 2 factory inner fender well screws and a 3rd on the top you have to drill out.  I never drilled and installed the top screw and they're on very well.

Hey I'm not a mud flap guy, but those are the best I've seen. They actually look fine on the car. Nice job selecting!

I just ordered a set while I was at dealership. $100 for front and rear.

Sent from a mobile, I think.

Mannnnnnnn....I wish I could've found a blue closer to me with all the options I wanted...

Thanks for the pics.  These aren't that big compared to other splash guards I've seen.  Not bad looking at all!

And I've looked all over eBay for a badge like that.  Do you have a link to where you bought it from?   All the ones I've found are "Non-SHO" overlays...

Those look good on the car, not oversized at all, so they match the car nicely.  Also gotta admit, the black emblem in the grill looks great!

The molded ones from Ford would flow with the contour of the car better and would help cut down on rock chips.

Just wondered if anyone had put them on..even if it was a non-SHO Taurus.

I had these molded ones on my 12 SEL and they looked OK. Putting them on a SHO would be wrong though.

How so?

Well, you have this slick aerodynamic shape that cuts a beautiful hole through the wind. Why muck it up with four wind catchers?  Just like you wouldn't put one of those awful sunroof wind deflectors on that nice slippery roof.

It would be like eating a wet potato chip.

Just like the non-functioning spoiler on the deck lid?

Well, you could always do the Porsche mod for the spoiler ...

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Trying to post a pic of the 12 SEL from my phone. Hope it works.
