UPDATED:-:-:Hot pipes installed.BOV spring issue fixed. Vid comparing VTA bottom

Didn't mean to confuse ya.  It goes straight to the BOV. However I have it bend n run down the side of the intake and under the throttle body to the BOV.   I think I just found out it may have a yellow spring in it. I have to look n see what psi it's rated at.

The routing doesnt matter......you pick spring based on vacuum at idle...should want the spring that rated for 18-20 inhg or negative 11ish psi

I am going to be installing mive very soon but today after some quick analysis noticed that the bolt for the vacuum hose adapter on the Tial bov is hollowed out at one point/section leading me to believe that you may to have this facing the outlet you connect the vacuum line to,so i marked it with a marker so i could align it correctly when tightening the bolt in order to achieve full vacuum from the outlet.  Z

That's just a banjo bolt. You don't have to orient the bolt in any specific direction. Just tighten it down.

I know the bolt is recessed inside,but the ocd in me wants it perfect,thanks for your input.  Z

Ok.  I'm good now, BOV is open at idle and closes with throttle.  Removed the yellow spring, installed the raw spring. Was still too heavy. Installed the white spring and it's perfect. Now....   I made a little video to add to this post. I had gotten a different bottom for the Q on eBay cause nobody else bid and it was only $20 shipped, so why not. I'm sure I'll get crap for running it but I don't care. Not a super great video but the sound difference is huge. If your into that at all.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Sounds awesome, it's hard enough to get peoples attention in the SHO.  I am sure it's even harder to do in a flex.
