Well finally got to Cecil County dragstrip for the first time. I was very different for sure. Lighting for night racing sucked. They only had lighting on the far side of the track and it didn't light the track up very good. Had hard time seeing the center timing blocks. I guess since it was nice out for Nov. there was ALOT of cars there. Believe it or not there were 2 other SHO's there. One was a black Gen5 and a silver Gen4. The black SHO was I think just tuned only, he said he had Unleashed and when he had the hood open, didn't see any mods. I ran him my first run, his was 13.053 @ 106.5, mine was 12.633 @ 109.23. I think the silver one was tuned, but not sure by who, it ran 13.14. The fueling station was AWESOME, think they had just about everything VP Racing has, all in 55 gal drums, including MS109, 8-). I think the Yoko's on the car are too hard, they are A/S with tread ware of 560, so even with tire pressure down to 23, still had major tire spin. Lost little over a hr of time shots due to a shower that can thru, so only got one more time shot. So the MS didn't get to mix well, its was worth a shot. Glad I got the car to there before winter hit, now I wont be chomping at the bit to get her out. Here is how the night went.
