Please excuse the typing, posting from my phone.
Hey guys. Following jimijaks how to I finally did my RX install on my SHO.
I installed it in the same spot as the explorer, front drivers side behind bumper.
It was pretty straight forward mounting the can. I did have to re drill the bracket holes to allow for level mounting.
I used the factory BOV recirculating hose barbs instead of drilling/tapping the pipe. On the rear and front valve cover vent hose to intake. This is the front with the adapter setup I used.

This is the back. I used a piece of 1" hose and this adaptor the reduce down to 3/8"

I had to drill out the center to open it up.
I routed the hose between the charge pipes and behind the air box intake nozzle.

Except for the hose clamps it still looks factory. The engine cover still fits also.

I have a hose that drops down that I can access it pretty easy from just crawling under. Then I tuck it away.

Thank you, I'm going to order some black hose clamps. So silver ones stick out to much.

I may try that first. Black clamps are pretty expensive.

To original poster...Did you VTA your sport? It looks like you did and I want to do mine. When you removed the hose on the front one did you plug up both holes with the plugs? It looks like you did but I'm not sure if I need to plug both or not. Sorry to get off topic here as I'm looking into doing the catch can on mine as well.

When you take the hose off, you'll need to leave the top port (just past the BOV) open to the air, then put a cap on the bottom port that feeds back into the front turbo.

Sorry I'm late to the party. So that I don't have to read through all 6 pages -- do the catch cans work? What's the best brand? and does it solve oil in your intake piping?

Anyone notice sputtering or anything due to the pressure differential?

I personaly think they do work if mounted in a good location by the front bumper area, just like a intake it needs adequate ventilation in order for it to function properly,RX makes a great quality unit and of course Eco power parts has a plug and play catch can which looks very promising made by UPR which i would definetly recommend, pics below is my RX front clean side seperator, and also heres a little diagram, hope it helps any.  Z

I truely like the UPR catch can from ECO POWER PARTS,a very well designed and convenient plug & play unit which makes installing much easier than the competitors have to offer. Z

I think you should try to remove any excess oil inside the CAC by jacking preferably the drivers side and having preferably the dealer suck up all the oil residue with a compressor type suction gun before adding any type of catch can,a buddy of mine which is a senior tech at Ford performed it for me and only takes a few min, especially if you notice oil by the TB and intake, something to really take into consideration.  Z
