was gonna say same thing I was going between wrx and sho. The interior got me really and the size. Im pretty happy about the decision. I do find it weird ford doesnt give out free tailights to people with peeling chrome And those f150s with peeling f 150 badges.

There awd is amazing. even with one tire with traction it can move. I dont think the shos performs quite as well. No complaints here though.

my good friend has an STI while I must say its much faster due to his aftermarket work riding in it is horrible, uncomfortable and noisy. The inside of the car feels cheap as well IMO

handling the sho doesnt have a chance against the sti or wrx luxury the sho will bet both

If honda had a awd v6 accord coupe id love to see that comparison. If subaru made a fullaize car it would be very interesting

Two COMPLETELY Different Animals intended for  two completely different markets .

Here is a part of the point I was trying to make and this may bring it into better focus.
List for me all the cars that you can go purchase new from a dealer that have the following:
-AWD
-Turbocharged or supercharged engine
-Aftermarket support for performance and appearance upgrades
-Purchase price under $40,000
Very few options with that criteria and that is how I ended up cross shopping WRX's with the SHO.

I was in the same boat as SRT. I wanted something more "mature" than an STI and also more luxury. Something I could see myself actually keeping longer than 2 years. Maybe 6 years ago I would have gotten an STI. I really liked the 07 Limited and Legacy Spec B. I'm 28 and currently the longest I've owned a vehicle is 20 months not counting my Mustang.

I actually ended up narrowing down to an S4 or SHO. I would have been around 55 on the S4 and I walked out the door at 41 for the SHO with better financing. Cheaper to mod too.

When I was just running a tune I ran a 2009 WRX on the interstate with Cobb Tune, intake, and full turbo back. I pulled a car length on him up to 140.

Another Mexican vacation?

This thread makes me want to cross shop an F-150 Raptor and an F-350 Power Stroke. After all, they can both be bought for a similar amount of money, they're both 4x4 (if you choose), they're both trucks, and they both have aftermarket support.

Buddy has a 2013 with intake and cobb stage 1.  We have raced repeatedly.  Has never been close. 

I pull 10-15 cars on him with tune only.

Not to jack the thread... But .... If you want a truck to work.. go with the 350 (I've owned several since 1990.  The new one is quiet and surprisingly quick.  If you want bling and to play go with the Raptor.  No dis intended.  Most raptors never get off road.

Thanks for the input, but I'm not seriously cross shopping those two trucks, lol. I was just trying to make the point that just because a few of the same boxes are ticked for both vehicles it doesn't necessarily mean that they are comparable. I would never buy a Raptor to do a Super Duty's job and vice versa.
