Seriously, supercharged and barely cranking into the 11's? guess we wont need to worry about these guys dethroning the SHO without some major mods.

There's only been one SHO in the 11's and that was with some crazy good air. I would bet it will be a pretty good race with the SHO pulling off the line and the SS eating it up on top. Stock to stock the SS beats the SHO easily in the 1/4 mile if it can do at least a 2.0 60', tuned and meth SHO compared to tuned SS it's still a driver's race.

The power train maybe sweet. But the looks.... I guess it could be a real sleeper since from a distance you would have a hard time distinguishing it from a malibu

Well, it's only fair! The 3.5EB is 1/2 the displacement of the SS TT engine. And the EB achieves 500 crank horsepower rather easily (assuming 400 WHP and 28% drivetrain losses (per bpd)). Not to mention the huge difference in weights! The LSX engine is less than 500 lbs dry weight (http://wikicars.org/en/GM_LS7_engine), whereas the 3.5EB is 450 lbs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_EcoBoost_engine). The LS series has always been renowned for their power-to-weight ratio.

That's been my main problem with Chevy lately, their new trucks I don't like the interiors and most of their cars I dont care for either. They have however improved the Vette by leaps and bounds. But compared to a lot of Chevy's I am much much happier in my SHO interior.

Here is same engine Camaro with HPE600 and it is $16,000 for 600bhp, 12sec FLAT. So at that price you will not see many of them. and with a bad driver we will still beat them!!!!!!!

Don't look at Hennessey anything, lots of alternatives for way less but that car will quickly be running 10's just like the G8's. Where's EBB, he'd be all over this.
