VERY confused here about the LIVERNOIS tune for my 2013 Taurus SHO

Just to refresh my situation.......... I bought the LMS Tune in October, and since DAY 1 have had the same issues with the 93 tune.   Hesitation/ surging after 4000 rpm (pretty bad at times) Trans feeling like it shifts into neutral when going WOT from a stop, like if you missed a gear on a manual trans . I have done EVERYTHING they have asked, I even bought their colder plug, and 170 thermostat, plugs gaped at .030 like they said, they even sent me the CW tune a couple weeks ago, and IT HAD ALL THE SAME EXACT PROBLEMS. I have contacted Anthony via email to give him a update on the CW tune , which like I mentioned, was also a fail. I'm waiting to hear back from him to see what they would like to do to rectify these problems. (2 days and no response yet) Has anyone with these problems gotten any update yet???   if so, please post to let us know. It just kills me that I have almost 1k invested in this whole thing, and I have to drive the car back in stock mode, cause I'm convinced, these problems CANNOT be good for the car. As a side note, I have tried to run many different 93 octane fuels from different places, even added octanebooster, and still had problems.   ANYONE WITH ANY UPDATES PLEASE POST....   Thanks guy's

I am sorry to hear about your issues, I have a 2013 as well and am running their 93 octane 4+ tune without any issues that folks have mentioned. I too have the colder plugs and t stat along with a drop in k&n filer.

I hope you and Livernois get it resolved soon.

I got a call from LMS this morning and I know they are trying very hard to get all these 13-14 problems straightened out.  If you are having trouble, I would just keep after them.  It's hard for them to put real names to our member names.  So, email them or call them.

I had their stage 1-2-3 tunes for my 2011. I discovered there was no reason to run anything but stage 3. It was superior in performance compared to the other 2 tunes with no difference in drive-ability at all. So it makes perfect sense to me that they would go that way. I'm pretty sure that most people after loading the stage 3 never went back to the other tunes either.

NEW UPDATE:  Brandon from Livernois called me today, and after going over some things they emailed me another tune to try.... IT WORKED !!!   no more hesitation/ or surging, and shifted just fine. I gather it was a custom tune, for guy's like myself that had these problems, because the majority of the SHO guys have no issues. I would really like to thank Brandon/ Anthony, and the rest of the guy's involved with these tunes at Livernois for taking the time, and working with me (even though I was getting cranky..lol) to fix the issues. Now, I wait for the guy's to apply these changes to the 93 tune.... Cant wait !!  Again, Thanks guy's.  :rock:

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Glad they got it fixed for you. I am curious though did they send you the newest 93 CW tune on your post from before when you still had issues or was it the 93 v7 tune?
They had a v7 to help the issue but it only worked for some people so now the have the CW tunes which they close the throttle blade at various points and open it much slower to keep from having the issue.
Just curious if they had to develop ANOTHER CW tune or they had just sent the v7 originally.
