Three 2014 Vettes with Michigan MFG plates heading to Marco Island, FL   Really dirty from the drive, and with 3 old engineers driving them.

I thought I would like the Conv. better in person than the coupe... Just can't get past the rear end... Looks like a pregnant Camaro. 

Now if we could get a similar convention of 50 year old Vettes, THAT would be something!  Nice capture, EBB

That rear spoiler on the Z-51's looked like it was glued on by a monkey!!!!

The rear Conv. was Charcoal Grey, which is the color  and model my son is considering.

I think the way to go is to pick up a used 2013 427 Conv... Better looking and should hold it's value if purchased for around $60.K  Or... get a 2008+ LS3 and mod the crap out of it!!!!

Or get a V and get a sleeper V-ette   Older Vettes definitely better-looking.

I am gonna be on Marco in February - maybe they will still be there and let me drive one back to MI.

Not sure if they went to Marco or headed down 41 towards Miami and Keys.  We got ahead of them and then I caught up to a Charger SRT8 with Michigan MFG plates that turned on to US 41.  Followed him till we turned off to go to Goodland to pick up Stone Crab for tonite and eat at "Little Bar".  Stone Crabs are expensive this year... $19.95 a lb for Mediums and $39.95 for  Colossal's.

Not true.. You can get crappy frozen Stone Crab... we have had it in AZ... But not worth the money!!

On another note... we ate like 6 LBS tonite of the 7 we got last night.  AMAZING!!!!!  Every claw and knuckle were great with BUTTER!!!   The remaining pieces will become Crab dip at our  next party!!! 

For you AZ  members... Son and Daughter-in-law lived in Flagstaff about 10 yrs ago when she was getting her Masters... They LOVE AZ!!!!  And so do we.... we just LOVE FL MORE!!!!

Ya' your right on.... Since they only harvest one claw/crab we're stuck here.  I grew up on the Gulf Coast of TX.  I was on the water 4-5 days a week... and I'm spoiled about fresh seafood

They are test driven every night through south Florida.  My friend worked there for a little while and drove the Ecoboost F150 before it was out.  The company is Roush, located off 951/75 near the dump in Naples.  I've seen plenty of cars they drive since I am living in that area.
