I would also love to know what type of total Whp the xsport would have after a turbo swap like this.
LMS says their Xsport was over 400 with similar mods I have now...
And If I read correctly, the post said the turbos swap added 200-250 hp.....
They will fit, you will make more HP on stock fueling but I highly suggest at least meth injection to supplement. You'd probably pick up around 50HP on these with a tune as compared to stock turbos just due to the increased CFM and cooler temps at same boost levels compared to stock turbos. I'd love to see someone throw an upgraded single fuel pump in the tank, I really think that will make a huge difference for additional flow. You might even be able to mix E85 to gain some more HP. You can go the dual in tank fuel pumps that I offer (not on my site) but the install is a bear and includes new -6 lines being ran, cutting stock fuel pump harness etc. Not for the weak of heart BUT I was able to fuel my old turbo setup at 23psi with 50/50 E85 mix on stock DI system.

You were talking in another thread about F-150 single fuel pumps as being larger capacity.  Which one(s) if any will fit, and do you have any suggestions?
What about the LPFP in the Raptor?  Does Roush change the LPFP when they supercharge the big V-8 in it?
2010 Red Candy/White EB Flex.. World's first 12 second Brick.. 12.904 @ 106.85 MPH - October 2011
2009 Spt. Red G8 GT - modded. best time 12.074 & 114.02 MPH
2008 White G8 GT - mods... 8.32 1/8 mi.

I don't think they'll fit as they're the same style as the Walbro 450 (hump on the bottom) ours is flat, the DW300 would work though, it's pretty small. I'll check it out at the shop next time I stop by.

Ok, so feeling a little bit more confident today as it relates to the newly installed ATP turbos....

Amongst all of my chaotic running around all morning long, extending into the early afternoon.....

I got on the car hard, and even managed two separate, and distinct, WOT runs with her today.

Happy to report the car seemed to really like the newly bolted on power, and monitoring my boost gauge alone during those two WOT runs, I clipped just past 18psi which is exactly where I was at with the stock turbos, and my current dyno tune file I've been running from LMS.

I noticed no issues regarding the car shuddering, or jerking, or any other detracting type of occurrences, as if there are, or were, any fueling related issues.

Stoked about that, for sure! :ok:

Car noticeably pulled harder in the mid to upper RPM ranges. Much more so than with the stock turbos.

Once again, I can only imagine that these experiences will increase ten fold (or more) once I get my butt back out to LMS for a new dyno tune that would compliment the latest upgrades.

My deposit's been placed in the "Hard Hot Pipe" Group Buy which 4DR is running, so the proverbial ball is rolling on that......

Things are coming along rather nicely and I am very happy thus far.

Not to mention just eliminating the smell of that little bit of oil that was expelling from the main seals on each stock turbo, and dripping onto the catless downpipes / exterior housing of the turbos themselves, is truly much appreciated.

Just wanted to provide an update, as I said I would.

Happy motoring fellow Ecobooster's   :drive:

Well the good thing is there's more in it yet, I hooked my boost solenoid back up and I'm at 15.5PSI but will slowly ramp up with Torrie. Trying to get past my overboost issues with the ECU. Looks like Livernois set your max at 18PSI or it's torque limiting you there, either way good news. Figure about 10HP per pound of boost and with my cutout closed on stock exhaust I hit 23 PSI and with cutout open 26-27 PSI. So you've got another 50-80HP left in it if you can fuel it. :)

Sweet!  18lbs of boost from the ATP vs. 18lbs from the stockers is two different worlds.  Everyone needs to understand that boost isn't exactly a measurement of anything other than restriction.  Those ATP's I'll bet flow a ton more CFM @ 18 psi than the stockers, plus creating a lot less heat doing it.

Very cool to hear!  I want to know how the lag is on a relatively stock fuel car....
2010 EB Flex Limited Dark Ink Blue Metallic/White Suede two tone

Sadly it is the wife's car, so I can't go too crazy on it...just a simple tune for now.

bpd1151

I've experienced no lag whatsoever. I think that is the same experience that 4DR reported as well.

Originally, I was set to order the "+1's" (due to a potentially expected lag from the +2's)..... but ATP held off on that offering, pending 4DR's reports.

Since 4DR reported no lag, coupled with ATP's own reviews of whether to produce just one, solitary product offering, I rolled with the +2's myself.

I did recently turn up the control knob on the progressive controller a tad bit (on the Methanol) and the little extra spritz has resulted in even more noticeable "umph".

I am excited to obtain a new, adjusted tune file, but am holding back on doing so for now, until I finish paying for, and installing the hard pipes on the hot, or pressurized side first.

So, all in due time.

any update? dyno and how many WHP you gain

No change from what I previously posted.

Keeping everyone in suspense is/was never my intentions.

I will post updates as they occur, and given Christmas is right around the corner, and having three teenagers at home, their gifts get more & more expensive each year.

The only thing i've really done on my own, is i've recently bumped up the knob on the progressive control box for the Methanol.

I kind of sensed since installing these new ATP's into my car, that since they flow so much better than the stockers, it'd probably be better to "spritz" them with a lil extra hit of Methanol.

She's responded quite well.

I likely won't get the new tune dialed in until after the 1st of the year (2014).
Winter's knocking on Chi-Town's door step, therefore, there's no real pressing need to get it done.

Well, Mike, if we don't get to feast on your SHO goodness, we at least deserve to see the presents that have put a restraining order on further upgrades ;) for now, that is!

Electronics are high on the list, son has started lobbying for a new X-Box One, that he would rather get as a gift rather then purchase himself....

Well..... spoke with Dan Millen today.

He's finagled some scheduling stuff around on his end, and we scheduled my new dyno appointment for Monday February 24th, and Tuesday February 25th.

He said it should really only take one day, but plan for two, just in case.

So as of today, that's the plan on my dyno.

I also discussed with him being pre-emptive, and pre-ordering a 15lb nozzle for the Methanol to replace the current 10lb nozzle I have installed.

Said it was probably a good idea, just to be safe. So I also spoke with Julio over at Alky-Controls today as well, and that new (and bigger) nozzle, is on it's way from Florida.

I also chatted up with my photographer pal today as well, as a few of the boys over at Livernois were inquiring about possibly bringing out a few of his model friends for some photos around LMS's facility.

Said he'll work on it, but the ladies tend to have goofy schedule's themselves, so we'll see if anything pans out on that end.

So, so many trains, running on separate tracks. Difficult, or should I say "challenging" to get everything coordinated altogether, in one harmonious package.

Lastly, I may need to hit up either Chris (crash712us) or even perhaps Darrell (Darelli) for the possibility of shacking up with either of them for that Monday night only.

Whew!

Keeping fingers crossed for a 500+whp outcome, and then once the tracks open up here in the Midwest (commensurate with the onset of Spring & warmer weather) hopefully well onto my way into those 11's.

Someone else has to give FirstSHO (Mike) a run for his money. Hahaha.  :burnout:

The endless month+ has begun!  I am sure the 500+ mark will be easily eclipsed :D

I know, I know...... *sigh*

Trust me, the wait has been much more agonizing for me, then the rest of the community.

But all great things, come to those who wait (or are at least to those who patient).

I had to survive the financial tidalwave of the Holidays, in order to get crack'n on the dyno appt.

LMS's dyno schedule is usually 6-8 weeks booked in advance anyhow, so I thought it advantageous to get a hold of Dan today, and get the ball roll'n so to speak.

So saying I'm excited, would be stating it mildly. Hahaha.
