So, I've had a few days to drive the car around and so I'll give an initial opinion...I like it! Havent been to the track yet...its 100 degrees here with like 80% humidity..so not the best conditions. The normal day to day driving...no real difference (which is what you want) I can now bring the rpms up to just shy of 3000 on the brake and it launches pretty hard from there!! LOL...that's on the street though....waiting for at least some decent weather to get to the track!

On another note, the first TC had 3 lugs and the SHO had 4..so I shipped my factory TC and Chris turned it around in 2 days and overnighted it back to me   :plane:

I then found out that the Flex may have three lugs so I'm shipping it to someone that we may know to test it out...but I wont mention names.

All things considered..I think with the new TC and the adjustability of the coil overs I think I may finally have an 11 second timeslip in the very near future

We already know, nice try.

You need to explain that in dumb terms for me. I like to spend money, I have it. So, is the TC worth upgrade from factory. Once turbos and meth are done--no sense staying stock on the car since I'm basically wiping my dookie covered bootie hole with Ford's warranty.

I like the idea... now, a launchable awd!,,

How does that make it a launchable AWD?

The car still won't send power to rear without killing it at 150lbs.

I'm not sure if its worth the money yet...don't even really know what Chris is going to want price-wise for them. I have an idea, but not completely sure.  I'll let you know more once I hit the strip. If it gets me consistent low 1.7's 1.6's...i'd say definitely. Its a waiting game right now..I wouldnt buy one until I had time to test it first

Thanks Darreli.

I look forward to your results!

Keep me posted man.

Your idea on that is still a little skewed...the car still launches great..better than any FWD i've ever driven.

Oh...and I have a set of H&R's I'd give you for a very good price :)

So...I made it to the track last night for the first time with the new TC. Needs some work..that's all I can say. Pro - ran low 1.7 60fts all night Con - lost 5-6 mph on the top end. I spoke to Chris on the way home and then Dan..and I'm hoping we can fix it in the tune.

Dan told me right off the bat, that as they loosen up the converter they become less efficient. Chris wants us to lock up the TC and said that should fix the issue and the should make a substantial gain. Stay tuned!!
What were the 1/8 mile times like?  You should see less of a loss in the 1/8 mile time vs the 1/4
