New PB in the 1/8 .. 8.483 @ 86mph ! (in car vid)

(UPDATED ON PG.2)

Managed two runs before the wife was calling me home. Difference between runs was a cool down on the faster pass. Only mods  are custom downpipe and exhaust. E20 gas, stock tune, paper filter, stock weight etc. 62000 miles.

Torque App showed -1.0 LOR, and no signs of +KR.

It was pretty warm. DA was higher on the second pass. 3499 DA on the 13.35 pass and 3196 DA on the 13.54 pass.

Ill be back with a modified airbox, plugs, lower temp tstat next month.

Solid numbers!  Did you mix with 93 or 91 gas?

I dont know how significant that is when running higher E blends, but figured I would ask :)

E20 mixed with 91 brings you up to 93 octane.

Didnt expect it to run faster than mid 13s, but was more surprised at the 107 mph

Those are excellent numbers.  I am blown away by the trap speed considering the stock tune.    80 in the 1/8 but up to 107 in the quarter is insane!

Yea folks typically running 107 in the 1/4, are in the high 12s. This is my first time at the track, didnt put too much thought into prep and launch. Tire psi was probably too low (22) and launched it as hard as I could...

Theres an 1/8 track local here too open every Thursday night. Might give that a shot for practice, before the next 1/4 drags at the end of August.

Cant tell cuz its been a long time since I was there, but that looks like Pomona?

Next time you go, lemme know maybe I will meet you there. The Irwindale track runs every Thursday if that where you were talking. I personally don't like the 1/8 mile track. Too short and soon as you cross finish you almost gotta lock your brakes before you run out of track. But Pomona and Fontana?

Last thing, have you tried the ACES IV? I run that with my 93 4+X tune with no problem! You might give it a shot too if you searching for max fuel cycles

Yep Fontana. Yea lets meet up, next date is 8/30 I think. Its always fun to run against the Mopar guys. SNELL 2010 or 2015 helmet are required though

Ive read about that gas supplement before, but havent pulled the trigger. Maybe when I get a tune.

NITSOOB, do you recall what ET's the white R/T staged behind you was running?  Curious because I have a friend with a '14 R/T that has no interest in hitting the track.
