May 14th of 2012, I left the dealership with a 2012 F150 XLT. The truck is Tuxedo Black Metallic in 4WD with the chrome convenience package, offroad package and dealer installed leveling kit and 20" Chrome Ballistic Jesters wrapped in 34" Toyo Open Country M/Ts.
The day I brought that bad boy home.
I couldn't help myself, so the mods began. As of today, the following has been done:
- 34" Toyo Open Country M/Ts (35x12.5r20 soon!)
- 20" Chrome Ballistic Jesters
- 2" Leveling Kit
- Black billet grille and black grille surround
- Powdercoated front and back bumpers to a near perfect match to the tuxedo black
- Black OEM style headlights with silver reflectors with LED side markers and switchback LED turn signals
- Smoked LED Tail Lights and 3rd Brake Light
- 8% tint on back windows/back glass and 7" brow, 16% tint over front windows.
- Airraid Cold Air Intake
- 4" Heartthrob Exhaust System
- Livernois Motorsports 93v2 Tune (new LMS 93 tunes soon!)
- 7" Pioneer AVH-P4400BH w/ PAC steering controls adapter and Sync retained
- Rockford Fosgate T1000-1bdCP amplifier pushing 2 Sundown SD-2 10" Subs
After all these mods, this is how the truck sits:
The subwoofer enclosure (sorry for the mess, I drive this truck for work, too!):
The truck has come a long way, and I'm very pleased with it. The power is there when I need it, it is a very comfortable ride, and has convinced quite a few to make the jump to Ford.
The mods will continue soon (cough cough 6" BDS lift cough cough).. but that's all for now!
Edit: Few more pictures, and in no particular order!
At work one day!
In the rain.
Radio install (done by me).
No more ecoboost badges.
Woofer porn! For as small as these are, they really make some noise.
