From the info I was given the SCT X4 programmer which is set to go on sale in a few weeks will have preloaded tune files for the 1.6 escape, 2.0 fusion and 2.0 explorer. The 3.5L Explorer Sport controller support will also be added. Shortly afterwards they will release the custom tuning software. I plan on immediately stocking the X4 and the initial price will be $399.99. As soon as the custom side is released I will get to work and build my own calibrations to support the above vehicles. As always when anyone purchases a programmer from me custom tuning and post-sale calibration support is included so as soon as my files are ready they will be available to all X4 customers.
Wow, this is great news. If your Export Sport tunes are anything like the Flex and SHO, should be great for us Sport owners.
All shall be symmetric. I am just happy we get support for these powertrains.
I will be curious how much you will be able to tweak out of the 2015 Mustang 2.3 Turbo coming soon? That will be a good market. :)
Agreed.
Awesome...make sure to include the 2.0 Fusion AWD.

How much will this be with a Dyno session?
I don't have access to an AWD dyno in your area.

You don't have one in ST. Augustine? Do you know where the closest on is?
No I do not. I would estimate Orlando.

Well that puts a damper on my parade, but no worries. I was hoping for a custom dyno tune right off the bat. How ever from what everyone has said about your tunes you already have the SHO tunes top notch so I will use that and save a few bucks on the dyno. One last thing, if I just want to pick up the tuner would I get it from the Jax address or ST. Augustine? Thanks for the fast replies.
I can make it available for pickup in St Augustine just coordinate that with me directly.
Torrie,
I found this place in jacksonville, Performance Driven Parts LLC they tune Subi's. Any ways they use a 4 wheel dynpac dyno. Just wondering if you are able to tune off that machine? Im gonna try to talk to them this week just to see if there willing to rent out time for that and what it would cost me. Sorry to keep bugging you about this just trying to get the best tune for my SHO.
I don't see why not. Contact me directly about this torrie@unleashedtuning.com
do you travel to different states to tune? like utah?
I most certainly do.
What about Chicago

Yes but generally it involves a group of vehicles. But I get flown in for individual special project vehicles as well.

Torrie can set me straight if I'm wrong... but email is too slow to be optimal... environmental conditions affect it all to some degree. Real-time make is possible to adjust and the pull immediately for results.
Yeah I don't agree with that. Not with the current technology level. I tune cars all over the planet from my office here and never see them. They can range from being in the field or on the dyno. I do this for individuals and shops on a daily basis.
Some clients want me on site. Which is fine too.
Torrie is hand's down the best tuner I have ever worked with period. I finally due to better weather I was able to send him a datalog yesterday and we ended up running multiple tunes and logs. This is LIVE on road datalogging which gives you everything the car is doing. Car is totally ripping now with what Torrie calls "a rock stable a/f all the way through the curve". Now that's what I'm talking about. Fast and safe! Thanks again Torrie.
I will log that last one tomorrow. btw :)
No problem, as always thank you for the field assistance.
Will the X4 allow users to adjust their own shifting points and firmness. What about transmission torque reduction? And finally, will you offer specific custom tunes through email / logging?
I would estimate yes since that exists now on the X3 but the exact range of adjustment will be calibration dependent.
Yes I always offer custom tuning with new device sales.

Hey guys I have a newbie question as I'm still learning from you guys. Is there a difference in the tuners from unleashed tuning other than looks? Is one better than the other in regards to getting a better tune with one than the other?

im also curious about this and if anyone is using the Livewire and how well does it work as a gauge pack and for logging
same here ... I like the idea of using an android tablet and Using Torque as well .
Its just that the The OBD II bluetooth adapter the iTSX comes with can't be used with Torque according fo Torrie at Unleashed .
Somthing about the port it uses on android OS.
Any one known if there is a bluetooth adapter you could get that would work with both ?
I think you are mixing up the livewire TS and iTSX products.
Livewire TS :

iTSX :
http://www.fastpartsnetwork.com/content/view/41/ (http://www.fastpartsnetwork.com/content/view/41/)
Corrected , I just really like the idea of using the iTSX Over the Livewire .
Less clutter and larger screen with an Android Tablet .
I just wish I knew how to get around the blue tooth port issue and just use one for both tuning and Torque.
How many tunes does does the Android app let you store ?
The other questions were on another thread by other members that I think you missed.

There is plenty of evidence all over this board that you are correct and I believe he is the best to tune the SHO or its variants
especially if they are 2013+
Hence Mr Torrie will be getting my money when this miserable weather breaks.
I can't wait to see what happens with my downpipes, cutout, and Mr Torrie's tune.

I attached one of my log files for you.
I can see that, there are just other items required that you could log with the programmer.
OK, I'm just trying to figure out which device I will use. Since I have Torque for gauges, I'm thinking the X4 is what I need.

Thanks for a smooth transaction Torrie.

No problem thank you for the order !
Torrie, do you have an update on when these will be available? Also, how long do you expect it to be before you will have your custom calibrations for it? Will you have to re-develop all of your tunes to work with this device or will your current tunes be able to work on this one as well?
Approximate release date is 03-10-14 - 03-14-14.
Current and future files will instantly work on this device.
Ship directly from manufacture to customer, or to you- then us?
To me then you. I reside 74 miles away from SCT HQ
Even though I'm not running an EB motor, Torrie still took care of me with this pre-order, so I can't wait!

I'm happy with my iTSX , love the 91 tune havent tried 93 yet . I will when I install catless downpipes and 4DR's Hot Pipe Kit & Tial BOV this week .
I would not be too suprised if you dont get a few extra orders due to a tune promised and WAY overdue from a competitor " so to speak " of yours .
Spring will be here soon with tracks opening again. ... I think some will jump ship !
Those 2 devices don't really compete with each so to speak. But I am glad your happy with your SHO !
X4 Shipment is picked up by FedEx and will be here tomorrow. Orders will be processed tonight and the tracking numbers will go out then. Pick up from UPS will be tomorrow afternoon as long as FedEx gets here early in the day as they usually do.

More precious than a vault full of gold bars!
Ha.
I just ordered one of these from your store today and I heard it comes with a window mount of some kind. Do you think it is small enough to mount long term like the livewire? Do you have any pictures of it mounted?
This might be a silly question... Any kind of trade up program for those of us with the x3?

UPS failed me, as i still haven't got mine yet.
Torrie found my Strategy was not in the SCT database so I'm waiting to hear back on that from him. BUT, he shipped it lightning quick and he's responded to back and forth emails with the same amazing speed, so I just want to say awesome c.s. so far on the things he can control. I'm looking forward to getting a tune on this thing once SCT does whatever it is they need to do. That particular part is a painful wait.
You EB guys have it better in this regard. The work is already done on this front for you.
They are working on adding support, and as soon as they add it to the database I can then build your files.

Great vid bud, what is your impression of the 2.0 awd fusion vs 3.5 SHO/Mkz after tuning?
This car was FWD, two completely different vehicles. If I had to live with one over the other I would take the V6.
Oh my bad, thought it was the 2.0 awd eco
That would be all correct minus the AWD, its the standard 2013 2.0L Ecoboost FWD Fusion.
can't wait to see the dyno and find out your thoughts on a tuned awd 2.0 eco fusion!
