Got a text from my guy at Kirban Customs; I'll have my pillar next week!

If you are interested in this, feel free to contact them--Darrell is a great guy.

He did say he has two options; one being how mine is--or he said he could mold the pods into the pillar from inside and not have to strip the fabric. So you would black plastic pods coming out of the fabric. For those of us with black interior, it's an option and one I may pursue if I have trouble with the upholstry shop.

Either way; I like it! He used epoxy based resin instead of fiberglass--it was stronger and cleaner. The pillar has very little thickness to it.

Thanks to Mike (bpd) for hooking us up with build photos and stuff; truly appreciate it.

If you call; leave message--it's his cell phone and he'll get back to you.

OH--, if you want to do this you will need to buy this pod to send to Kirban with your pillar cover; http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/Universal-Dual-Gauge-A-Pillar-Pod.aspx

On to some build photos.

I don't see a need to measures dicks.

Sent from a mobile, I think.

You'd likely win. I'm hung like a field mouse.

But moving along, seriously though, looks really good Storm.  :no2:

Haha, I got some Asian in me.

Explains why I'm single.

Hopefully upholstery comes out good.

Thanks Mike.

Now the daunting task of finding someone to wrap it--WAAAh.

Gonna be hard part I bet. :(

I can talk to my upholsterer out here by me and get a cost estimate for you.

Obviously you would have to ship it back and forth.

Were do you get the factory A-pillar?  I really like your updates and progress.  This is the makings of a great How to thread.

That is my factory pillar. I had a guy take a universal gauge pod and epoxy it to my pillar out of my car.

I just need to get it wrapped in black again.

Thanks; it's coming along.

I need to order my boost and AFR along with my downpipes next month. I'll get it all put in probably October.

Need to pack away mulah for the huge vacay to Texas in November; calculating it to be about a $700 round trip fuel bill. OUCH
