I agree 100%... I tried the Lenovo for a logging laptop and it is now in service with my Dad.

I can't say I have any complaints though, it has been a solid little machine.

Typing this on a Dell XPS13 (Made in China as well)

HD, I5, 8g, 256 SSD

All of my Dells over the years have served me very well. The WIFI chipset in this one has been a little flaky at times.

Yea, Lenovo actually has all the firmware developed in China as well.. Dell at least uses some US based code. At one point the Lenovo stuff came preloaded with spyware straight from China...
