I was tapped into the black line in this picture. It's been replaced and now I pull my boost reference from the intake manifold with the pcv delete.

That surely wasn't a desirable line to tap into for vacuum reference!!
It could of caused a host of issues to arise. Z

It wont cause or suck up unmetered air...anything in the intake manifold is metered...only unmetered air would be air sucked in between the cylinder head and primary 02 sensor....the fueling control is determined by speed density (map) rather than maf

Why would you want a pcv delete?
Full race catch can.

PCV delete is a warranty killer FYI.

Im just saying you can suck all the air into the manifold you want and it wont really throw things off...its not prone to fuel trims being off from intake leaks like MAF cars

I'll try and look at the logs in this forum but id like to make a new config on my truck and send it to you and you can run some tests

Some of the things i would want

Measured afr bank 1/2
Stft bank 1/2
Ltft bank 1/2
Lambse bank 1/2
Desired tip prs
Map in kpa
Fuel rail pressure
Cyl head or coolant temp in deg. F.

I would do a wot pull in 1st through 3rd and let the truck shift traction off and a 3rd gear sweep in manual mode from 2000-5700 rpm
Spark v2
Knock cyl 1-6 DMR items
Throttle angle actual
Load
Rpm
Iat2
Torque source
Wastegate duty

Oops my post and log items got split up....im on phone..but yeah you can put that together....make sure livelink is version 2.8.0.5

With you saying the main issues are knock and knock retard that would not make me suspicious of air leaks....but rather fuel , electrical, and tune

You wanting to test and change all these solenoid parts i think is blind at this point but you are understandably frustrated and desperate

Any chance when you were spraying meth you were pushing the boost and spark so hard you messed something up mechanically that is now making noise?

That video didn't sound like pinging to me.  Stock tune and 87 octane and see if it is worse.  If it is horrible with that fuel, take it in and have them fix it.  Even without a code they would have to accept it is a warranty issue if it pings when you roll on the throttle.  I need to look at a log.  I still can't believe it is stoich with any kind of decent load.  I need to see if I have a part throttle log and see how it enriches it as the load goes up.

Not sure who you have doing your tuning (not need to know), but just an FYI but I think AJPTurbo can tune knock by Cylinder.  My car had some odd knock and he switched me to a 6cyl knock log and thought he said the tune was also setup per cylinder.  I could have that wrong, but might be worth touching base with him since you are finding your issue is isolated to one Cyl?

Other option would be to move that knock Cyl to anotehr Cyl and see if issue follows, but based on what you are hearing I doubt it is a sensor issue...

What do you mean move that knock cyl to another cyl?

Yes, it can be tuned with knock per cylinder. But global knock is safer, because it pulls timing across the board. So the idea here was to begin with global timing, watch data as he makes changes, and when data looks safer switch to cylinder knock.

I'm logging knock per cylinder on the OEM calibration, and that's most of what I've discussed here.

I'm not entirely sure it's isolated to one cylinder. Sometimes when I hear my knock sounds all 6 cylinders drop to a negative KR.

The data looks much better with the tune I have than OEM. My main concern was for him to help me determine if it is a programming issue, a hard parts issue, or an electronic issue. Which is still to be determined. As far as I know it *should* run fine on the stock tune.

I only mentioned the bit about his tune to say he was able to force better afr numbers. So does that mean anything useful?

I meant moving the knock sensor to another cylinder.  I do not think that will really do much other than verify that the sensors are good and you have an issue with #6, but always nice to completely isolate the issue...

I have no idea who is doing your tuning, and am not sure if all tuners can (or will) use per cylinder KR.  I was just mentioning AJP as and option to consider as I am pretty sure he does and thought it might help in your case.

A random misfire is no big deal and won't trigger a cell.

The obd troubleshooting manuals will tell you the threshold you need to breach to cause a cel.

Just search for them I'm at work or id grab them for you. I'm in and out today as I have minutes to spare.

No idea on the misfire knock question.

Just a quick message but your afr is normal...fuel enrichment isnt normally commanded until about 90% pedal...the ecoboost pistons in conjunction with Direct injection is designed to suppress preignition

Ford actually did some cool things with piston design to aid in that

Its hard for me to imagine you are getting real knock since you say your knock sensors are not pegged...if you are hearing real knock they should be pulling the max amount of spark they are allowed and that still isnt enough for some reason

It sounds like you are trying to fix your problem by tuning...the oem tune should not be your problem...you are talking about one of the best selling cars in america lol....if the tune does help though that still doesnt mean you fixed anything....i wonder if you have a valvetrain problem or internal engine problem....i can tell your frustrated...i would maybe try to blow the motor if you have warranty which i think you do

You mentioned you had meth?...how hard have you ran the truck to this point?....im kinda baffled by your situation honestly

I guess then we should go back to basics and check compression maybe?

Can you add spark source to your config file?
