I'm  hoping to geta chance to run a Scat Pak car here in the couple weeks.  Like to see how the new setup works against them.
brian to me the problem with the scat pack is the tires/wheels, they tried to remedy if with a wider wheel package which came out after i got mine. will be interesting. i know rich has a sublime green one up his way at milan that talks a lot of smack on the forum.

Hmmm I would think if that scat pack is fairly stock Rich should be end to it pretty quick...

The 245 RSA's are a huge issue and generally hated for being on this car.  Even the Ecoboost Mustang has wider rear tires.

Some go with 315's on Factory Reproduction Hellcat wheels, but that's a bit of additional weight.

A tuned SHO will simply leave a poorly launched Scat with no issues.

Hell Rich is picking on Hellcats, so Scat Pak would be no trouble.   I like to compare what I have now to the other brands.  Should be interesting since running meth now.

QuoteI'd love it even more if the "MODERATOR" of this forum...yes the freaking moderator, didn't go on a douchey rant about FCA.
Obviously your comment is TOTALLY above-board.  There is a certain level of insanity & profanity I see in the automotive forums I see I all the time.  I don't like it because we can do without it, but usually it is easily understood humor behind the profanity.  Z tried to put an end to it when it became truly objectionable, but you continued it.  So yes, you need to dial it back.

Obviously you didn't read the thread from the beginning.  I have nothing to "dial" back.
In that case, you, sir, are done here.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

if he's picking on hc's they are manuals, the a8 is a very quick shifting tranny just like our tuned a6's. & not to get everybody ruffled, i've never been a pony fan & like them less with new design but love my sho dearly as the best kept secret in car market. the thing fca does is give you what the engines got with a warranty. ford is completely the opposite, leaving huge headroom but also to get it knowing you maybe giving up your warranty. whose smarter ford no doubt. fca has got to go ford way in next 3 yrs or so or will not survive. they got to lighten their cars & go turbo. all you have to do is go to track. at high end nitrous as much as i love a night blow are giving way more & more to turbos & the crackle. one thing about the old style v8's that you can't get unless  it's faked is sound.

I do like the charger in all its incarnations.  The challenger, i would have to go old school ala Burn Notice style.

I am the same, have always liked the Charger.  I drove them each time I was looking for a new rig and they just did not give me good feelings in terms of the interior versus other brands.  The Damn things still catch my eye though, every time I see one, great lookin cars.

IDK where metro has his IAT2 compensations set but at 160 you can bet the car was probably pulling some spark. I'd like to see that race again with better conditions.

Great run Metro!

Thanks! I haven't found any spark adders/pullers for IAT2, just for IAT (I dunno if this implies IAT is IAT2). I normally see about 60F over ambient for IAT2 when road tuning in the winter (ambient of 0F-30F). At the track, 80F-90F over ambient is normal for my car and the 70F ambient on Sunday did not help things very much. My ECU wasn't pulling any timing, and was adding up to about 1.5 degrees at WOT. I think it was mainly because of the E30 blend I was running. My fuel pressure was also a rock solid 2000-2100+ psi for the entire duration.
I was gonna ask... has to be at least e20.. I ran a 12.4 on e20 with unleashed, now Brad has me at e30, hoping to go even faster. Hopefully I can get to the track soon.
