Curious here... I have emailed them concerning pricing and lead times... I have been monitoring them for awhile when they listed the SHO as coming soon... now says available.. I will update when I hear back...

Awwwww shiiiiiiiitake'.....Lms where are you at? My sho needs more power. Between this high flow di pump and rumors of a lms direct port meth injection setup, I'm schoolgirl giddy a.f right now. (Is my excitement coming through clear enough for you guys?)

Probably right... they are going to respond on Monday stating it's $2,000 dollars, 4 weeks lead time, etc...

StealBlueSho

Soooo I got a response... basically the website is incorrect and they do not have a HPFP for the SHO yet... and to contact MustangRTR.com as they are handling the development of the Ford HPFP for the ecoboost motors...

I already have an email out to mustangrtr.com for more information....

Will update when I have info from them...

Update.... I got a response back from MustangRTR.com...

"Hi Michael, thanks for contacting Mustang RTR.

Right now the SHO pump is still a month or two away from production. If you'd like, I will add you to our email list and contact you once available.

Thanks,

-Michael

So I naturally replied yes I want to be on the list, there are quite a few SHO guys that are interested to buy when this comes out, and if they were working with Livernois Motorsports on the development as the time tables are very similar.. the advertised flow rates and having two pumps are exactly what LMS is doing...

Maybe Extreme DI is building them and LMS is rebranding or vice versa? My reason for wanting to find out is if there is a reason to go with one over the other if there is a price difference?

I will keep the post updated...

StealBlueSho

On a side note, I hope they are two different pumps from two different manufacturers, the competition will help drive the costs down.

StealBlueSho

Michael from Extreme-DI said he doesn't believe they are working with Livernois on the new HPFP. They are doing their own design and implementation. He is reaching out to his tuners today to see if he can get us some information as far as the increase in flow and PSI of the two new pumps...

This is great news!

Just a heads up in these new Bigger HPFPs.   I know they Livernois HPFP will need a tune for the car just to run, not just a part you can just put on and go.  Not sure about the other manufacturer of the bigger HPFP.

I haven't payed any attention to the F150 guys... BUT... are you saying that the LMS HPFP will NOT work without a tune? I understand that to take advantage of the better through put of fuel a tune would be best however I would expect you can run the Firestorm HPFP without their tune.

I have a hard time justifying a mechanical fuel pump that requires a specific vendors tune.
