It's two torx screws, a quick fuel disconnect, and a 8mm nut on the fuel line to the rails....

The only thing I can think of is if the the new spring is really strong making it difficult to install..

Technically you are supposed to align the the engine to TDC so the cam lobe the HPFP rides on is at its lowest point... this makes it easier to put the the HPFP in as you don't need to compress the spring much to get it in....

Sounds easy enough, I think I'll put a call into them and see what they say.

I have swapped out HPFP... takes 5 minutes.... I wrote up a how to on shoforum....

I bet there is something that needs to get drilled/fabricated just like for Z's new meth kit. It's hard for a company to then support fabrication they didn't do. I would give it some time as all these things are brand new.

AEM Dryflo drop in. PP Transmission Cooler and thermostat. 160 tstat, 3 bar map, plugs, AJP 93 Tune, PP Shocks and Springs

StealBlueSho

Based on the F150 pump from LMS its a direct swap... when I called they said it was a direct swap...

Not sure about anything special for E85....

You are correct from my understanding only E85 capability needs in house install.

Yes, to run E85 with the serve duty pump,  it needs to be installed and tuned at Livernois.  It's more than just swapping out HPFPs.

But from my understanding, it only needs to be done in house because of the tuning part of it. The swap is easy and anyone should be able to do it but they want it done there so they can do the tuning because they don't do remote data logging.

Is this an LME or Xtreme DI thread?

StealBlueSho

Xtreme DI... when I called a couple months back they said that a tune is required... hence why you probably need the install in house...

ShoBoat

We are in the process of finalizing the SHO kit.
First car ran, no full power tune yet.
Prices are as follows:

HPFP-35 = $1850
HPFP-60 = $2850

Both include all accessories for true bolt on. Nothing else needed.
Installation takes less than 30 minutes on the SHO.

Response from my inquiry.
Dealer pricing possible.
