As long as we are critiquing performances, work on that RT too!!!  :P

Another fine time slip!  What prep, if any, did you need to do to attain it?

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Slap some drags radials on, that is killer MPH for a heavy AWD car.  If we could safely figure out how to get the 60fts down to the 1.6 range or better we would see some 10 second cars for sure.

So does the AWD system send much power to the rear?  I'm seeing TONS of time slips in the 1.8's with ET's across the board.

Don't quote me but I thought I read 70/30 power split.  But not for sure.

I have read somewhere that the maximum torque that the RDU will process is 150 lb/ft.   The rear wheels will certainly assist the front in improving traction but regardless of the percentage of power sent to the rear, the RDU never locks up to put extra power to the wheels.  This is why when at the track, you will get front wheel spin but the rears do not.  150 lbs/ft. is not enough to break the tires loose on dry pavement.

Can anyone confirm this or prove it is incorrect?

AJP turbo

From what i read i thought the 150 ftlbs is not what the rear tires are actually providing but its the clamp load applied to the clutch pack in the RDU...thats why you need a dyno that mechanically links the rear roller to the front..otherwise you risk burning the clutches trying to turn the heavy rear drum

Since Ford updated the PCM for the 2013 MY, it us not inconcievable that power transfer logic was updated as well.  FoMoCoSHO had also mentioned updates to the JTEKT unit IIRC.  I am sure he will chime in soon.

If you look at bpd's livernois
1/4 mile run the rear wheels definitely brake loose on launch. So I wonder if it's a true 150lbs or it scales on available power.
