I have read somewhere that the maximum torque that the RDU will process is 150 lb/ft. The rear wheels will certainly assist the front in improving traction but regardless of the percentage of power sent to the rear, the RDU never locks up to put extra power to the wheels. This is why when at the track, you will get front wheel spin but the rears do not. 150 lbs/ft. is not enough to break the tires loose on dry pavement.
Can anyone confirm this or prove it is incorrect?
