I had a 2007 SRT charger with a tune, headers, exhaust and I ran 13.0 all the time. It was pretty quick. I could launch it hard.
I have a Grand Cherokee SRT same motor and driveline except it's AWD. I ran 13.5 with it all day stock. 12.8 with a cam, exhaust, and tune. It has a ProCharger D1 on it and it's been running about 11.7-11.9 right now.
The SHO is a little slower than my 2010 SRT jeep (stock SRT jeeps run 13.5s) but it's quick because it's AWD and since it's a turbo it takes nothing to make it go faster. So you can tinker and tune to make the SHO much faster with minor work. I really like that about the SHO. I also know in the short time with my sho people are impressed that the turtle kept up or beat them off the line or beat them. They all go it's a SHO, that's cool.
So don't feel the car can't hang because I know it can. Just takes a little Gogo juice. On these boards there are some really good Vendors that have pioneered the way and have made some really really fast SHOs. Best part is they are still sleepers. They don't scream fast but man do they fly when they go.
