I probably should have stayed longer as she was getting a little quicker each run but I can only stand so much....

FoMoCoSHO

Runs in April were made with the stock intake....

This week was with the K&N Typhoon installed.

Anybody have any thoughts for the great CAI debate?

glock-coma

I installed a 3" hose from the stock air box to the lower front of the car. Seems to help lower temps faster. Plus you get some intake noise with the stock box.

I'm still trying to make sense of the different results with the CAI on the 2015.....

2013-Loss of throttle response, unrecoverable heat soak

2015-Great throttle response and fast heat recovery.

Bottom line?

IDKWTF is going on, lol

Updates to air/fuel tables for 2015?  Nice H/S on the Vette!

I've thought about that as the fuel trims behave differently as well as -KR that maxes at -4 instead of -5.

Another thing that comes to mind is that there was an unseen change in the bumper and fender that helps fresh Air to the filter. Wish I had checked when I had both parked in the garage, but I was dead set that I wouldn't reinstall on the new one.

Also using dash command instead of torque which refreshes much quicker so I've considered the slowness of torque was causing me to miss a bunch of data, basically seeing an average instead of real time.

glock-coma

Are you still using the mx Bluetooth adapter? I tried using dash command last year but it wasn't as user friendly so I went back to torque.

On a side note I only see a max of -4 KR in my 2010

Yup, still using the MX.

And I getcha completely about Dash Command being less user friendly.

I just cannot get past Torques lag, it makes me insane and if I need a parameter in Torque, I can still fire it up for troubleshooting.

Too bad the MX cant handle two data streams, I'd run DC on the tab and Torque on a phone.

Give me a brief description of torque and dash command ...I know nothing about them...all I know is sct and live link .....

Fomo I thought u used sct and were tuned by torrie..how do you log?

For those of you that log KR...have you ever logged knock sensor in live link?

Reason I ask is because in my Honda there is a pid that you can log called knock retard...but it's a percentage and doesn't actually equate to actual degrees of timing being pulled but more of a factor of some sort

Both are similar in function to the sct but give you a better GUI for real time use while driving.

I am not tuned yet with the new car for another 1700 miles till I can remove the break in oil and get Amsoil in her.

Torque is extremely user friendly and customizable. Dash command is not by it is damn fast....as fast as a wired connection.

I do log with SCT and both of the other programs log and use the same type of file but for some reason I can't import it into SCT which is far better for analyzing the data. I figure its because the lids are named differently.

Screenshots for both attached.....Dash Command first then Torque.
