I am not proud of these but I will post them anyway, hoping that there are better days ahead.  There were thunderstorms on the way and I sort of jumped into this with out any prep time.  DA was 2499 and we were all fighting a 20-25 MPH headwind.  Best ET was on a run with worst reaction time and run with worst ET had the best RT.  I guess I was either concentrating on the tree or on getting RPM right but could not do both at the same time!  I realize RT has no effect on ET but I found the results interesting.  I was probably more conservative than most of you....was only leaving at around 1500 RPM or so.  The @#$% wind was the big killer though.  No one there was happy with their times.

LME stage 4X tune, stock exhaust, K & N panel filter in stock airbox with a 3 inch hole in the fender side of the box and plumbed to opening in inner fender.  I expected to be around 12.7 and I think I can get there under better conditions, better launch technique and better car prep - such as not having so much fuel in the tank and playing with tire pressures.

Not gonna see a12.7 tune only in 2500 DA. 2.0 60ft is a little high as well what are you launching at rpm wise and drive or sport mode?

There were impending thunderstorms and high humidity along with headwind.  Yes, there is room for improvement with the 60 foot times.  I was probably too conservative - launching around 1500-1700.  I launch in Drive - pre-2013s have manual mode - not sport.   This was my first time and I found that trying to watch the tach and the tree at the same time caused me some issues.  :no:

Some quick tips that I have used, I generally launch around 2200, but play with it see which works best for your car, and as far as the tree, light the prestage lights( first yellows), rev the car up and Lightly come of the brakes and rock it into the stage lights( second yellows) then your already revd up ready to go and can focus on the tree, just takes some practice

I just ran a 13.5@103mph with a stock 13' with a k&n drop in. No headwind though

That is an excellent time for stock.  Your DA was under 300 which was helpful but, regardless, that is one of the quickest times I have seen for stock.  Great job!

I will get back to the track when the wind is calmer and the DA is lower.  With a little better launch technique and better conditions, I think my car has a 12.7 in it.  I know going into that headwind, the pull from around 80 to 104 was agony.

Apparently some consider that non stock since I run the corn......

My 60's were garbage as well so I need to go back but my last experience at KilKare was horrible so I'm not terribly motivated to go back anytime soon. I need some practice so I will have to bite the bullet or try a new track.

You can't just pump the corn e85 in the car can you? Do you have to mix?

Brucelinc recall my first time and quite honestly was nervous as ****,usually people do better at night cause the tree lights are more visible to the human eye compared to a bright sunny day,definetly need to find that sweet spot,found the best way for me was as soon as you see the first yellow light,start easing onto the gas pedal with your foot firmly on the brake around 2000 rpm and as soon as you see that 3rd yellow light just let go of the brake quckly and mash the gas pedal,dont wait for the green light cause the time between each yellow light and the final green is .500 seconds,the perfect reaction time is .500 they call it cutting a 500 light. Z

You can't just pump the corn e85 in the car can you? Do you have to mix?

Yeah, I put in 3 gal of e85 and top off with V-power 93. It's a short drive and the car doesn't seem to mind. No wot in between stations.
