Friend of a friend had his wheels stolen last night. 20" painted wheels, the ones without the flowers. They just left dropped his car on the pavement in the parking space. Anyone sees wheels like this popping up in the area let me know either to let him buy them or see if they were his.

These are the wheel locks that I got:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CMH4BY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
According to Amazon, they don't fit my car (2011 SHO), but the measurements are correct (and they're on my car now).

In Ohio we've had a rash of wheel/tire thefts at night in driveways. They get pavers, blocks, etc sometimes from the owners flower beds, Put them under the axles/spindles, let the air out of the tires, and then remove the wheels. Quick and easy only requires a lug wrench.

Unfortunately all it takes its one of these and they can get your wheels even with a locking nut.

Yep four sockets slightly larger than the diameter of the lock nut are all you need ...pound them on and unbolt.

Only thing I've found that keeps people away is to set my alarms sensitivity extremely high so it goes off when the car moves. Last time I was filling gas and I put the fuel nozzle in to rough so it honked at me.. Guess I should have warned her first. :P

It's part of the kit for the cell phone remote start. The security module. Works pretty well.
