What Plugs for tune

sp 534? or are they the factory ones....So far I have 170 stat 3 bar cai and i'm waiting to hear about an sct tuner...

Factory/Motorcraft sp534 works fine, gapped at 0.030 from all current accounts.

I would personally stick with the oem M.C SP-534 and already come pre-gapped at 0.30 which is convenient,and add just a touch of anti-seize around the threads and also apply liberally some di-electric grease inside the boots and of course on a cold engine,when installing the plugs dont make them to tight because of the aluminuim heads.Z.

How much torque when installing new plugs?

Going to tackle this in April and prepare for a tune, finally!

I believe it is about 11 ft-lb or 133 in-lb.  If I don't have a torque wrench handy, I tighten them on the Edge till they are snug, then give it a 1/4 turn more (at most).  Works out about right.  But the key is never to FORCE it.  Using antisieze has its yeas and nays, if you are changing plugs frequently, you can do without.  I like to use just a dab.

I would honestly change them only if your getting a tune and they come pre-gapped at 0.30,changed mine three times already at only 22k on her,found it convenient to use a 3/8 ratchet and plug swivel socket.Z.

Yes, SP534. I only had about 2000 miles on mine, so I just set the gap to .030 using a good spark plug gauge from NAPA.
