I'm glad to see he got these produced! I was the one who was going to test his prototypes last year but had to send them back due to other personal issues. The guy is awesome! very understanding.

I've done business with Dan in the past... I have his puddle lights... Just found out about this ... As soon as I verify the temp on the white mine are ordered... And I am gonna upgrade to the new puddle lights too.

The products are excellent, he is personable, and his customer support is top notch!

From Dan:

Our DRLs do not use the factory DRL setting in order to function and is independently controlled and powered by a wire harness with integrated controller that is included in our Taurus DRL kit. The included harness and controller is easily installed and will allow the DRLs to automatically turn on and off with the ignition key. Engine on, DRLs on. Engine off, DRLs off.

Snap-out...Snap-in.... Way easy. he has a video posted on it.  I paid $98 a year ago... now a better version is $67.  There are cheaper ways, but not as hassle free!

I ordered the DRLs and the upgraded puddle lights...Just got the tracking number.

Spoke with Dan: The white light in the DRLs is 5K color temp and the amber turn signal part is a match for the OEM..... also he relates that he is still putting final touches on the both the install instructions and video (for DRLs), but anticipates they will be ready by the time I get the DRls and upgraded puddles. He said just to call him for any questions on the install... if there's no video at the time I install I'll try to do a "How To".... surfed around his website for a while too, and it seems he has customers in over 72 countries!

I just ordered the silver LED DRL's and the puddle lamps. First mod of the year!  Bring on spring!  I just hope I didn't jinx myself into 6 more weeks of winter like that stupid groundhog.

Right you are!.... but they are not DRLs or nearly as bright... and they aren't switchback turn signals either.

I did the non hassle free option and cut open the puddle lamp module to install some leds from Amazon for $8. Took me about an hour from start to finish. I am very interested in the new DRL kit. I wonder how it wires into the turn signal. Do you have to take the bumper cover off to install? If it requires the bumper to come off and more wiring, then it's a definite turn off for me.

Thanks for this!! My passenger side light is out and rather than replace with an oem bulb I think I will just order the DRL replacements!!
