Am I seeing that right? The fender portion of the light is jutted out beyond the trunk portion of the light?

If it makes you feel any better mine kinda looked like that from the factory. I didn't notice until a few months after I had the car. Not sure if there is anything I can do about it now...I just chalked it up to being a Ford.

Mine looks the same, and it really annoys the s*** out of me.

I plan to take it up with the body shop at some point in time.

Yes. As I'm seeing it, the trunk is in on the bottom and flush at the top....

I wouldn't of bought the car if this was like so then, the lines and gaps on this car were perfect....everywhere

Ended up getting a call from someone at Geico during the afternoon at work. Went over the whole deal and was assured "again", that they were on my side and want to make it right. This new "agent" was embarrassed he said, and understood my want to take it elsewhere to fix. Waiting on call tomorrow after he talks to "manager" about it.

Funny the other adjuster and the shop didn't return my calls. I guess they didn't like my well articulated list of complaints and the fact I considered it an insult to give me a car back with this defect.

Not one bit better do I feel knowing this. Appreciate the rationalization, but with these lines & gaps still off, and other gaps affected by the accident....I think there is more at play.

I asked for the work sheet that had to be filled out for checking the frame, see if that even took place. Doubtful.

Get it in there....with the look of the mounts back there, should be easy adjustment. I feel I need a new trunk lid, why else would they have not adjusted it right? Laziness...cheapness?

Thanks buddy.

Regardless of what happens here, I'll make it right...rainy day fund would take care of it no problem.

But, I'm not one to give up so easy. So these people will fix it or I'll make them pay some lawyer costs to make up for it.

Worst part it stressing out over it

Yeah, def don't do that, enough things to worry about in "real" life as it is.

Rich... Since the shop was approved by your insurance there is almost certainly a clause requiring your approval of the work before the case is closed. If your wife didn't sign it that would seem the big point to make with your ins co. and the shop to get it done right.
Yeah, I was informed today by new guy, that all work that was done is warranted for life. If I don't like any of it they will do it again. Told them the stuff they did looked ok, but they didn't address all of the issues. And how I didn't trust the shop to actually look for full damage in an effort to cut costs. Hoping they clear me to have it looked at elsewhere.

Live and learn....Do Not Use place adjuster works out of.
