Hey guys I am brand new to this forum and i was just curious if y'all can point me in the right direction for some relatively cheap and easy first mods for my 2012 SHO. I have mechanical experience from working on my 95 Thunderbird. I have been looking around the forum and there is so much good stuff i don't know where to start!
Greatly looking forward to what this adventure will bring!

Tune--Best gain of hp for money spent.
12' Flex EB
Unleashed X4
3rd Cat delete

PokerMunkee

Welcome!!

1. Tune (Livernois or Unleashed) + 3BAR Map Sensor + New SP534 spark plugs.

This will get you around 420 HP and torque.  In right conditions, high 12's at 107MPH.

2. Add Down Pipes.  Either Catted or Non-Catted (offroad).  Allows turbos to spool faster, better sound.

3. Add catback exhaust.  Popular drone free one is Corsa but costs $1300.  Mainly for sound, a little HP gained perhaps due to 3rd cat being removed.

4. CAI.  Thought around here is the stock airbox with a K&N drop-in filter is the best setup.  K&N and other CAIs sound good but allow too much heat in.  A new MDesign CAI is popular but will set you back around $365.  Should have some more dynos in the next week or so to see if gains are indeed real.

After that, it's adding meth so you can up the boost and timing.  These SHO's are low 12s at 115MPH.
2013 SHO PP - Ignot Silver/Charcoal
Unleashed 91 tune w/ 3BAR, Corsa exhaust, LEDs everywhere
2011 F-250 6.2 CCSB FX4

Welcome to the forum.

Good starter kit is the tune, plugs, tstat, and 3bar map sensor. Tune requires the better (newer) plugs, tstat helps the temps, and 3bar map gives better tune - ability  (for the $60 you'll be smacking yourself if you don't get)

Pics are always welcome. Good luck.

Another SHO hailing from the CHI.....

Nice! :ok:

Sound suggestions provided thus far.... Follow those 1st & proceed from there.

Need any other help, LMK as I'm not that far away.

Welcome to the forum, glad to have you and your '12 SHO on board :)  Did you pick it up new, how much mileage does it have right now?  PP, or non-PP?  What tires are you running?  If over 25-30K on the car, would suggest PTU fluid exchange as a good maintenance item before modding.
2007 Ford Edge SEL, Powerstop F/R Brake Kit, TXT LED 6000K Lo & Hi Beams, W16W LED Reverse Bulbs, 3BSpec 2.5w Map Lights, 5W Cree rear dome lights, 5W Cree cargo light, DTBL LED Taillights

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

We KNOW that a SHO with our bolt on kit above will flirt with 11's! CRAZY FOR A 4500LB CAR WITH A TUNE AND LIMITED BOLT ONS!

Wallaceracing.com has a 0-60 calculator based on your 1/8 mile time and speed. Has my "calculated" best at 3.8!!! AWD FTW
