Never new I could turn this off by holding the button down for 10 seconds until a few days ago. Went 12.79 earlier this year so I'm wondering how much time I may have lost by not turning it off. Any thoughts?

You can only fully turn it off if you have the Peformance Package.

I do not have any timeslips to back up this statement, but I feel my best launches are definitely with the gear selector in sport mode and with Advance Trac completely disabled. Much more aggressive launch than with just hitting the Traction Control off.

I would get too much spin that way, threw codes with "service advance trac soon" message. Best I could do was 13 flat, ran 12.8's with selector in "D", less spin, no codes.
2013 Tri-White PP, PPE downpipes, Corsa, Air Raid CAI, H&R Springs, 170 deg thermo, Livernois Dyno Tune 365 AWHP 407 AWTQ. Best 1/4 mile 12.580

I went out trying this again. How do I verify the performance pack?
My car window sticker shows included but I cannot get advance trak to change modes. Car at WOT shifts at approximately 65 mph. So I thought all PP cars shifter around 55 mph? Anyway any help clarifying is appreciated.

I don't see PP on that sticker and your shift point indicates the 2.77 final drive.

Is your steering wheel suede?

If you had PP you would also have an advancetrak button in the console in front of the shifter.

Doesnt rapid spec 402a indicate Performance Pack? And from when car was at dealer for transmission work, their sheet on car details did list the 2.77 rear end

402a is just an option package.

You would see another line for PP and a $1995 charge.

Pp is also comes on 20" wheels... so 19s are a dead giveaway

At least for 2014, the 20" flower wheels are an option on the non-PP SHO's, the 20" non-flower wheels are optional on the SEL, Limited and SHO.

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

OK. You guys got me. I saw and believed from all those points mentioned that my car was indeed a non PP car. But the package, just needed clarity.
