According to Anthony's e-mail my V8 tune is set for a lower T-stat but I haven't gotten around to putting a lower t-stat in. I wa going back and fourth on a 160* or the 170* still. Seems like my SHO is getting quite a bit of heat soak. Runs great but after I run it a few times I can tell it's down on power a tad for awhile to cool back down. Normal LMS ? Any more info on the necessity aftermarket T-stats ? thanks :)
2013 PP SHO LMS 93V10 tune, 170* T stat, 3bar, K&N drop in, plugs re-gapped, 4in exhaust tips.
UPDATE - 130K miles =blown engine. Unleashed tune and EBPP upgrade turbo billet wheels / Turbo Smart WGA's on a bran new long block. Let's get this SHO on the road !

Flip a coin on t stat choice  ... just do it .
You run it hard and NEED a lower temp  t stat.
Heat soak is normal .
2013 SHO  ....  not mine anymore

We recommend the 160 thermostat. The only reason that we ran the 170 was because at that time it was the coldest T-stat available. We went to our EvenFlo 160 thermostats because we saw a need to lower the operating temperature to help these vehicles perform better and keep the engine temps cooler.

OK I'll call in a bit and get one it's starting to heat up in South TX. Doesn't seem like my fans are running much considering the higher temps and tune for a lower stat while having the stock T-stat in there though ?!

is there a way on these cars to put in a switch to run the fans on command ? I ran a switched ground wire into my ECU on some wire once on my 2000 GT Mustang with 708 whp :)
