I like shoman's commentary in the beginning of his video clip while shooing the loose cat to off camera right.....

"Get out da way cat, go on, get out da way, we want to hear the sound"

Freak'n classic! In true shoman style!

Personally, I would've left the cat in the screen shot, & started up the car anyhow.

The startled look would've been equally as humorous.

Bwahahahaha.

Guys I'm going to say it again, get catless downpipes from whoever but if you want catted downpipes the PPE ones are the only ones that don't throw a code and will pass emissions. In a little bit he's going to start throwing 2nd O2 codes which will have to be tuned out by LMS if they didn't do it already with his initial tune. You'll not pass readiness checks with any emissions tests that look at the rear O2.
Just FYI

Interesting. The only reason I chose there's over your was time frame. Only time will tell I guess. But they were priced the same.

Get the non-catted and have someone weld a fake cat on the outside!.. In AZ they stil a tube in each exhaust and idle you to death!

Like I said before.. do you want MEOW or BARK..

Review what 4DR says about PPE vs others.  That was a BIG DEAL to me, even though neither state of IA or FL have emissions testing.  BUT... the state you may want to sell your vehicle in , just might.

I really didn't know these would throw a CEL. I haven't seen any reviews. I just assumed it was good. We shall see what happens. But I don't remember that being disclosed

Does PPE make the catted down pipes for the XSport yet?

Fast SHO

I assume the swap was pretty straight forward and easy...other than the modification that had to be done to lengthen it.

Straight bolt-on as advertised. If it wasn't for that lil mod it would have been done in less than an hour. Still no CEL. Time will tell

Nope, we don't have access to an explorer to make them.

Did you buy the tuner and downpipes at the same time from LMS? Did they create the tune for you knowing you had their pipes? I would assume that they already programmed out the rear O2's if that was the case thus no CEL.

Hmmm, I've been wondering about the 'custom tune'  I asked for 91 Oct tow, 93 Oct tow, and then 91 Oct performance fueled for full exhaust, DP's, big Intercooler, and then a 93 Oct performance equiped the same way with the supporting hardware.  I would think that they would add tons of fuel for the 91&93 cals that have the supporting mods but I've flashed and run both of them just for fun and they don't seem to run poorly??  In the past (with my ancient 80's & 90's turbo cars) a cal will too much fuel just runs plain ole p00py. So I've been wondering if I really will have enough fuel when the last two mods(DP's and IC) are complete :dunno:.  Got the exhaust done today(not DP's yet) and running the 91 Oct tow cal it runs bitchen 8)
