Back when I worked in the Chevron refinery in El Segundo, CA the blenders that made most of the octanes would typically be off a little. Many occassions when the blenders were out for maintenance, the octanes were boosted higher. So a 92 min. reading means, that is just a minimum. NOT EXACT! You may actually be getting 93 octane. Same especially true with the lower octanes. When I used Chevron exclusively, my '87 Monte CArlo SS liked 91 octane better, but I always ran 87 since most of the time the actual rating was 89-90.
I tried loading software to tuner. Albeit I am using a work computer since I only have a MAC at home. I get error message of invalid installer. Is this the software issue or maybe a permissions problem from work computer? I know they do limit internet access to certain websites and such.
