NGK Iridium IX.

LTR7IX-11

Stock No. 6510

That's what i've been using. Gap 'em to .030, or as close to that.

"Sent while on the road, burn'n meth, screeching tires, winding out the gears, & push'n the twins"

I plan on going with LMS stage 4+ tune. How do these plugs compare with the plugs they offer with the tune?  I probably won't tune until next year, but will changing plugs now, while otherwise stock, give me any benefits/problems?  If I go with LMS my cal and later on decide to make the trip out to LMS, can I use that programmer for a custom tune?  Will a custom dyno time give me more power than the stage 4+?  Sorry for all the ?'s. Thanks for the replies.

I'm pretty sure they can tweak your 4+ and will load the custom tune into your MyCal.  That tweaking will probably be better served with plugs they recommend.  Sorry, it's not a very good answer but it's the best I can do.

Of coarse it goes with out saying you will see more gains with a dyno tune over a canned tune. As far plugs there is to much debate on the subject, I have been using Denso Itv-22's the same plugs darrell and 1st-sho have been using. But I was under the impression back when I changed my plugs it was only needed with stage 5 meth tune. Now where taking 2yrs ago since its install, and there may have been changes since that require a colder plug.

Pass on the autolites. Motorcraft sp534's NGK's .30 LMS TUNE OR .28 torry tuned.
