All updated from info received.....
Size of the emblem is 4.5625" wide x 0.5625" tall x 0.1875" thick (at the tallest point). Actual measurements can vary by up to 0.020" or so depending on powder thickness. All emblems will come with VHB emblem adhesive on the back unless otherwise specified.
What might be easier would be to just have anyone interested in purchasing one shoot me an email directly to
chris@yourlittlecncshop.com with what they're wanting.
So just to clarify on pricing with a couple of possible examples:
If I were to pull the badge off of my CNC mill and stuff it into a padded envelope with no powdercoating, that will cost $30 (shipping is free to the 48 states):
If I were to powdercoat the badge black and then leave the letters raw machined with no color (perfect for Plastidip!), that would count as one color and would cost $45 ($30 + $15), shipped
If I were to leave the badge face alone and powdercoat the letters in 3 colors, that would cost $75 ($30 + $15 + $15 + $15), shipped:
And the one I showed you earlier with the black face, machined 3.5L, blue Eco, green Beast would be the same as above since there are 3 colors: $75 shipped.
Nobody is limited to those color schemes. The set I did for one of my buddies here was done in red/silver/red ($30 + $15 + $15):
The badge itself is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. This is aerospace grade alloy. Not as strong as 7075, but definitely overkill for this application.
.: All of the powders I use for emblems are UV-stable polyurethanes. They're very durable and like the aluminum they've bonded to, will likely outlast the car. For those who are in areas where salt spray is a concern, these powders are rated for ~3,000 hours of salt spray exposure before degradation happens.
