I got my blower for my truck used for half what it would have costed new but I had to drop about $2500 for new aerospace front and rear brakes. Didn't mind cause I have the $ but if I can find good used parts that I need I'll buy them. Doesn't bother me at all. I'll let somebody else take the loss.
This is why I'm always a cycle behind, doesn't matter whether its mods, consumer electronics, etc. Patience has allowed me to get everything I want while keeping lots more money in the bank. Just too bad I didn't learn that when I started working at 12 years old. The only reason I drive new Fords instead of used is because MrsFoMoCoSHO's sales guys let us know when there's multiple incentives and rebates we can stack on D plan with 0% financing.
