I NEVER park anywhere near another vehicle if I have the choice. 
But even then,parking in a near empty lot, someone always finds me..

I was out shopping with the wife this evening, was parked for maybe an hour.
Nobody near me when we left or when we came back. But this is what I find.

Down to the metal, Dented, rear right fender well. That's not buffing out.

Oh man!  I'm sorry.  I would be sick.  I also am very paranoid where I park and am always worried. 

I had one like that on my Dk. Red G8.  We had a guy lever it out and we touched it up.  Unless you look at it closely at an angle, you can't see it.  Was a a cheaper alternative, and didn't require painting and blending much of the side.

Color is hard to touch-up. My Flex is Red Candy.  Been there.

Can't have nothin' nice.

Man, sorry to see that happen to you...I had a similar experience, one night the first summer I owned the car someone threw a handful of 2B stone at the car...I never say them coming and it dented the hood, and also nicked a wheel.  I had to get the hood repainted...and EBB is right, the red candy is a PITA to blend and match.. Hope you get it fixed, one good thing it should be covered under your comprehensive part of the insurance so you should not have a deductible. Good luck.

I'm really sorry man, I hate that this happened to your car.

This is number 2 on that list of things that make my blood boil. My girlfriend parked my car at the end of a row of parking spots the other day where away from everyone else in hopes of preventing this type of thing. As she is walking away from the car an older lady parks with her driver door facing my car with 1 foot of less in distance between the two cars. Then my girl carefully watches the lady finagle and squirm out of her car without hitting my car. As the lady shuts her door, my girlfriend asked the lady why in the heck did she park so close when there are hundreds of other spots available. She then explained to the lady that she parks this far out to prevent people like her from damaging her boyfriend?s car. The lady?s reply was that this is a free country and told her if she didn?t like where she parked, then she should move my car. My girlfriend knows how I am about my car and she respects its safety more than her own life. Needless to say, there were words exchanged and before it was all over with the lady stomped her feet and got in her car and moved across the parking lot. Lol. The stupidity of some people makes me wonder what this world is coming to. Don?t these people know that a vehicle is the 2nd most expensive thing they will ever own, so you should take care of it?

glock- what a bummer- i went to doc yesterday- hate those hosp parking lots. parked way away from everybody & luckily most people going to hosp don't like to walk, so was OK, but yours sure is a downer, hope gets fixed ok. problem is our colors are so hard to match, dr color chip comes closest.
