I'll likely be looking for a new truck sometime in the near future. I haven't ruled out a new explorer or F-150. But I'm also searching 13' and 14' F-150's to see if I could find a low mileage one for a decent price.

If I went the used route, I'd be looking for an FX4 with the 6.5' bed and tow mirrors (you know, the ones that look like super duty mirrors). I realize it's difficult to find something that specific that's used l, but I have seen a handful. The only problem is, all the ones I've seen are originally from Canada.

Is there any reason I should stay away from a Canadian truck?  Other than speedo (I have seen some in mph) are there any differences compared to a US truck?  Any other insight would be appreciated.

I would stay away from the Canadian trucks because the people that make them say EH too much and eat poutine.
