Black Friday Wheels and tires
November 23, 2015, 05:13:18 PM
So I am going to take advantage of Discount Tires Black friday specials. That is either $160 in rebates on tires or $320 on tires and wheels.
What is your thoughts on these wheels.

Right now im a bit torn between Nokain Hakka R2 SUV and the newest X-ice3 in 235 55 18
Also where are you all getting your TPMS sensors from. DT is letting me having them for 45 instead of 60 dollars but should be able to get them cheaper than that.

Those wheels look great, much better than my winter wheels. I have a chrome lip that the mag chloride has destroyed.... need to paint/plasti them some day!
I'd go with whichever is cheaper... that's how I decide on winter tires.

Z had posted a link recently from Amazon for Schrader TPMS sensors if you wanted to go that route. Under $8 at that time.

If tuned: Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Thanks very much for the reply's. I was shopping Discount and TireRack.com Price is about the same different wheel options but i like both.. Biggest thing is i can get Nokians from Discount Tire... Im Pretty Excited either way.. FOR ANYONE that wants to run Snow tires on Stock 20 inch wheels The Blizzak DM-V1 are 150.20 on tire rack and Discoutn will price match.
Here are the other 2 options i was thinking of from DT.

Have you looked on
treaddepot.com
? They have great prices on wheels and tires. I would seriously check There as well
13 Eco flex.

I checked tread depot.prices are comparable to what I have been looking at. But they did have some other tire options I had not found locally

Might have an issue with the 45mm offset. That will pull them in pretty good. You'd be better off with the 35.

discount tire direct will price match the prices from Tirerack (after the rebate) which is phenomenal when combined with the rebates from discount tire direct, just a heads up since this is the route I am going with my tire purchase!

Panther, be careful in the rain cause my Blizzaks really suck on wet pavement if you romp on it. Fine in the dry and hopefully awesome in the snow.
