Livernois 4+X tune and emissions readiness

I've noticed when running the 4+X tune, according to Torque Pro or Dash Command, oxygen sensor, oxygen sensor heat and catalyst monitoring never go in to 'complete' status.  I've gone weeks driving my commute which is part highway and rest city/local driving and they will still read 'incomplete'.  I'll flash to the 4+ tune and all the readiness monitors will eventually be in 'complete' status.

Anyone else have this issue?

No CELs...,do you have catless downpipes? If so, the downstream O2 sensor is likely turned off to prevent a CEL.  Whether a failure or part of your tune, an O2 sensor not working will almost certainly fail emissions as it's part of the emissions system of the car.

BiGMaC is da man and certainly agree, while running the tune you should see 1)catalyst incomplete 2)02 sensor incomplete 3)02 sensor HEATER INCOMPLETE. How many miles on your SHO,? Try reverting back to stock tune and make (certain)the monitors read compete,if not could be one of your 02 sensors, mainly the front wide band 02 sensor and personally would email them at info@livernoismotorsports.com to compare tunes.  Z

No CELs with any of the tune files and don't have downpipes.

I only have this issue with the 4+X tune.  On the 4+ tune all of  the readiness checks out fine.

On the stock tune it is fine.

71k on the car.

I'll contact Livernois, just curious if anyone had seen this issue.

What was the exact name of the tune you loaded?  Aren't there multiple versions of the tune for 3Bar, for Downpipes, for both, etc.?

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

Many of our 4+X tunes were originally created using vehicles with downpipes as well.  You may have a 4+X tune that has this mod incorporated so the guys that do have downpipes do not get a CEL.  We can modify your tune if needed, but it honestly is nothing to be worried about and not going to have any negative effects on your vehicle other than the fact that it would not pass a reediness check for emissions.  The car should be returned to stock any time it is going in for an emissions check anyways.

Can confirm.  I have PPE catted downpipes.  When using the 4X tune, the sensors you describe will not achieve readiness for testing.

I didn't know the sensors were "turned" off and failed my emissions test.  Then just returned to stock tune and everything passed just fine.  Now I know, so not a big deal.  And as Livernoise stated, it doesn't effect your vehicle at all performance wise.

At first I freaked out thinking it was the downpipes.  I thought I was going to have to swap them out once a year just pass emissions.
