For the warranty itself.....

Looks like you got your moneys worth.

If it is the water pump they should check the timing chain and tensioners when they have it apart.

yessir! I think in total the warranty cost me a lil over$2k  so I'm already past that with repairs for this car.

Great to hear that you have warranty and sorry for the late reply, hopefully you get her back to the stable very soon, still would change those coolant hoses, after a while they get brittle due to heat exposure and especially with the current mileage.BTW think 66 Galaxie mentioned the reservoir hose that connects under the tank and feeds to the engine block, think the issue lies by the engine side(inlet)pics below and best of luck.  Z       http://www.tascaparts.com/auto-parts/2010/ford/taurus/sho-trim/3-5l-v6-gas-engine/cooling-system-cat/radiator-and-components-scat

So a little update on my car. As said before it was leaking antifreeze. I'm at the shop that has had my car for over a week and they have just really began the repairs. So upon more inspection they say the issue was internal and antifreeze was leaked into the oil through crank case. He pulled the oil dipstick and it had light orange thinned out oil running from the stick.

Additionally the timing chains need to be replaced. And he said even with the hot houston temps there was tons of steam coming out of the exhaust that solidified the fact that there was an internal issue.

Your warranty is really going to pay for itself with this repair.

True that. I'm so glad I didn't decline it.

I honestly think they should just replace the motor after antifreeze has been circulated through it but I'm guessing if the motor goes the warranty will cover it
