Much cheaper to live in TX comparatively and much larger car scene and better air, also track isn't as mean about running low 9's with no cage, chute etc.

Wife has was born and raised in Phoenix, I've been here since 1983. Wife wants green and land, I can't get an acre with decent house for under $900K around here without driving 1.5 hours to her work. Also possibility to get a promotion for her.

My father lives in Goodyear...enough said. Last time I was out there the low temp was 108!

For 900,000 you could buy a huge house in Houston, tons of land, and in an awesome area. Multiple tracks around town, and the racing scene here is insane. I COULD drive for 30 minutes on any highway/ feeder road and never stop racing.

I'm not trying to spend $900K, trying to stay just under $400 if I can but less is better. It's almost time for all the kids to move out, time to down size and minimize my bills

I bought my house (2600 sqft 5 bedroom 2 car garage, but small yard) for 140,000. 3-400k will go a long way. I know a few realtors also.
