2013. will only be using premium, though I assume the car will be picked up with a full tank and I'm sure they will use regular.

Assuming you are not into the go pedal every chance you get, 25 mpg sounds very doable, even with the PP option.  Good luck, keep us updated with stories & pics :)

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

How in da blazes are you getting 27 mpg? The best I have ever seen is 23 mpg.

Are you guys in general using what the car ecm calculates as mileage?

Or are you calculating actual mileage?

I use an app called a-car on Android for tracking actual mileage, maintenance and pretty much ALL maintenance records for all my vehicles. The spike and dip were either times I did not enter data and/or missed fill ups. Oh thats the same thing, lol.

I just did a 300+ round trip to KC and back (from Des Moines), running 93octane with a Livernois 4+ tune - hit 25.2mpg according to carputer. That was with cruise set at 80. 2012 w/pp

I certainly wouldnt rely on the cars computer to give an accurate estimate, calculation based on your mpg, find it kind of obscure in that dept, similiar apps like torque pro seem to be more beneficial for a variety of purposes. Z

I use the car mpg. I know they short term readings are not very accurate , but why wouldn't the long term be accurate?

when i first got my '10 non-pp, none tuned, did a 200 mile round trip using 89 but was on cc at 75 mainly flat roads & didn't use computer reading but did the old fashion was & she did 27. but the non-pp has better gear ration for cruise, so i'd say 25 is right on.

When I first got my '10 non PP I took a jaunt from Albany, NY to just north of Indianapolis. The trip out I recorded a 29.9 averaging 70 mph on cruise. When I added the return my overall avg for the 1600 miles dropped to 28.6. I'm running long term cumulative averages on the car and on Torque Pro and I find them consistently very very close. Averaging both winter and summer total driving (which for me is mostly short haul errand running) I'm running in the low 19 mpg on both car and Torque.

Ive done the manual method as well - besides being a PITA it can be just as flaky. Did you use the EXACT same pump at every fill? If not did you fill until the pump auto-stopped? Are they all set at the exact same backpressure? So are you getting the same amount of gas every time? Almost certainly not.... Its all a best-guess and by using the carputer its consistent.

I've used the same pump repeatedly for manual calculations and the computer is so close it's not worth my time to do the calculations. I'll use that time to calculate my blend.
