I took the SHO on a road trip this weekend and the MPG's impressed me. From OKC to Little Rock I got 27.2 mpg and Little Rock to Memphis I got 27.6 mpg. I was going between 70 - 75 most of the way. I probably could have gone all the way from OKC to Memphis on 1 tank of gas. I'm very happy with the gas mileage and love getting 5 MPG more than my old Marauder!

Is the SHO still stock, 92blackGT?  Under optimum conditions, the SHO can def beat the rated mpg :)  Good to know it's behaving itself!

If tuned:  Take note of the strategy code as you return to stock (including 3 bar MAP to 2 bar MAP) -> take car in & get it serviced -> check strategy code when you get car back -> have tuner update your tune if the strategy code has changed -> reload tune -> ENJOY!

yup, still stock unfortunately

Nothing unfortunate about being stock, I have no doubt most owners think the car runs great the way it is. People who peruse forums are already inclined to mod, there must be tens of thousands of SHO owners who never thought of modding their cars.

Back to mpg, I average 21 mpg city/highway. That's 4 mpg better than the '13 Coyote Stang I had, which is fine by me!

ElvenSho

I averaged 29.5 mpg on a 400 mile driver all highway. I noticed that my mpg is best aroud 70-72 mph, when i went 65-68 my average on the car computer went down to 27ish (weird). I am tuned on 93 octane.

oh, it's great stock but tuned will make it even better. I'm looking forward to the shift parameters being changed. I hope a tune will make the shifts a bit more firm (not harsh) and positive feeling. I hate the way it shifts now, slow and drops power it seems.

I always achieved between 19 and 21 as well, most typically right at 20. Really, not bad at all for its size and power.

You guys must let your wives drive a lot, lol.....

All jokes aside, that is a combination of lots of WOT, corn, some meth, and almost no highway driving....

I see 13.5 mpg with winter blend gas and mostly city driving,BTW my original eagle f1's needed replacing at 15k which tells you something.LOL. Z

Fomo you should grab yourself some cheap 18's with some snow shoes....u will love it in the winter...then u won't have to compromise with all seasons..winter tires for snow and summers for better performance

Yeah, I've been thinking about that....

PP isn't as good of a bargain when you add in $1400 for a second set of wheels, lol....

I can see it being much more fun to drive though.
