Hey All,

I have a question for those that live ine Canada.

Do you guys have access to 93 octane? I ask cause at the end of July I will be driving up to Burlington ON, for a week and want to know if I need to detune the car to 91 or will I have access to 93 oct while I am there?

Thanks!

I know alberta has access to petro-can ultra 94 but im finding sask and Manitoba do not have ultra 94 as im taking a road trip and wanted to get a 94 octane tune lol. Husky also has 93 gas here but its not top tier gasoline. http://retail.petro-canada.ca/en/independent/3557.aspx just check the ultra 94 and plot stations along your route. Chevron also has 94 octane but not at all stations.

I never see above 91 octane by my cottage in Sarnia.

Hello WickedSHO.

I can 100% confirm 94 octane is available in Burlington Ontario.

Well that solves that. I made a trip for Sterling Heights to Toronto and made sure I filled up in Port Huron so I didn't have to buy gas in Canada because I thought they didn't have 93 there. Still it was nice to make the round trip on one tank.

Lots of 94 and 93 in the greater Toronto area. Some Esso gas stations have 93 and most Petro Canada have 94. Basically from Hamilton to Pickering have access to 93+. Just the really rural areas only have 91. But if you are worried grab the Petro Canada app and it will point you in the right direction.

I use 94 octane from petro-canada in Quebec.

Fore warning.....yes most Petro Canada's stations carry 94 octane.....but be prepared for the price of gas in general.....regular 87 octane will run $4+ US gallon.....fill up in the USA before you cross ;)

Thanks All.

I plan on filling up right before I cross. I'll be taking the Detriot bridge when I cross, since there are more frequent stops that if I were to go through Sarnia.

Haven't really had the SHO on the road much for long trips, so still unsure what kind of MPG's I will get. I hope it is higher than 25. I'll be ok with that.

Gas prices here are starting to creep up as well. We are at $4 a gallon for 93+ at Shell.

I will download that Petro Canada app before I leave.

Set the cruise on the straight highways and you should get 25 mpg easy all the way to Toronto
