Had the stage 2 snow performance kit laying around, finally warmed up enough so I took on the dubious task of installing this all by myself. It was a really fun project. Took me around 4 days of working 5-6 hours a day.. This was very slow and easy work though, didn't rush anything. A lot of time was wasted in parts runs, brain storming, and other miscellaneous things. I added some extra time by relocating a windshield washer tank and running all the wires/hoses for it. Was going to skip it but I figured I may as well do the best job I can!

I was going to do an install guide just to cover some issues I faced that weren't mentioned, and I still might. I'll have to see if I have enough pictures!

Here is a few pictures of my install though.

I installed the pump right next to the windshield washer tank, which I'm going to use as my methanol tank as most people do.

I used the provided tank from snow performance and used it as my windshield washer tank. I installed on the driver side (exact opposite of the OEM windshield tank).  This picture doesn't show it, but I brought the pump over to this side too, ran wire across to power it from the original source, relocated and added some hose from the pump to the spray nozzles for the windshield. For now I just have a hose ran up next to the battery to fill with a plug, but I am going to add a small fill reservoir and probably attach it to my airaid intake box. It should be pretty clean once it's all done. 


I installed and mounted the progressive control box inside my glove box (have to take a picture of it yet). Ran a few wires and hose through the firewall. The nice thing though is that when I get around to ordering gauges, I can easily tap into it for my boost gauge.

Also, I ordered a 5 gallon barrel of methanol.. Came in the mail today! Spendy stuff to order online, but unfortunately no speed shops even close to me so it was my only option to run my 80/20 mixture. Didn't want to experiment with washer fluid and heet either.

Unfortunately after all these nice days we got in northern Minnesota, it decided to randomly snow quite a bit today.. So no chance to run the methanol today and datalog.. Oh well. Super excited though.

Now you can zip over to the speed shops and get yer methanol, pay for itself in no time at all   Best of luck, hope you found the HOWTOs useful in this process.  I assume your tune is updated for this already.

And if you take it in for servicing, be sure to clearly mark, maybe even lock the windshield washer/methanol tanks.

what size nozzle are you using for the meth

Super job! Anxious to hear your performance evaluation when weather permits.

Did you replace the WW tank for the windshield?

since you ended up installing the Snow tank, why are you using the windshield washer reservoir as your meth tank?  (Research question for my own planning)

The OP used the WWF res for the meth and the meth kit jug for WWF.  This way you get more meth and still get some WWF.

About to attempt this exact install myself in the next couple days. I've done similar installs for other vehicles so I'm fairly confident on the process. Even with that being the case, what issues did you face? I'd like to know if I need anything ahead of time that Snow left out or any minor bumps I may encounter. I don't think ill go your route and move my washer pump but I do like the idea of the master/slave setup. Did you attach your second reservoir to your airaid intake like mentioned? Any pics of the bay?

I'll also try to remember to document my install and add to your thread.
